2014 - Graphic 45 Design Team submission - Project #2

 

Layout created with two Design Paper Collections to show coordination of different paper lines.  On the Boardwalk, Botanical. Starting with Black card stock, On the board walk paper, slightly distressed, painted, and sprayed with home made glimmer sprays, on a Large store bought Doily. Many layers of designer paper, vintage music sheet, and hand cut leaves.  Flourishes are Tim Holtz, painted with Martha Stewart, Gold Metallic Paint.  All flowers are hand made with G45 Designer paper Ob the board walk, and Botanical collection. I curled 1 1/2 inch strips of Designer paper to create dimension and interest for the eye, along with 1/4 in strips of paper, all glittered with Gold Stickles. Hand cut heart from a Paper doily, layered with Botanical designer paper.  Mat for Picture is layered with 3 designer papers and hand cut.  small bits of Venice lace, gifted to me by my friend Julie, across the top left corner and lower right Bottom of page. Top, Center of page, paper is torn, with a tiny layered doily, hand cut leaves, and a hand made teensy flower. stamps on the left side of the page are cut from the Botanical paper collection with stamp, shaped scissors. Tiny Diamantes, on top left side of picture are cut from Rhinestone Chain, another of my favorite embellishments to use on all my projects. Right, bottom, corner of Picture, I used Faceted, teensy, red resin, eye shaped, flat back pearls to add balance & add cemetery to the picture. Title "Beautiful" was printed on Printer paper and layered with hand cut banners made from all the scraps of paper used for this layout. I used 3 sheets of 12 x 12 designer paper, and 1 piece of Black cardstock, 1 large paper doily, to create this layout.
