I have been MIA for the last couple of weeks!

I'm sorry I have been kinda out of the loop lately.  After my migraine  I
got  sick. AUGH!!  I think I'm on the road to recovery now.  So I'll be posting more techniques videos and I'm working on a new Kit 
which I'm shooting to post by the end of the week.

Hallloween Circle mini album

Hi everyone,

I'm very sorry I have not posted any thing lately, as I am a migraine sufferer and have had a migraine for the last week. I'm striving to release my next kit so, I went to my local crop this past Friday night to work the final items ..... I plan on releasing it tomorrow morning. I also have a little mini I worked on to post. I hope you like it. This mini was made with Pine Cone Press Halloween Paper and

I am able to create more Kits to make this little mini if you are interested just send me an email and I will speak with you privately. This Mini is made with very sturdy black or white cardstock. The circles are all pre-cut and scored so that all you have to do is put them together. This kit will also include paper, ribbon and the Halloween images I used to decorate this mini album. If I didn't have bad luck,,, I'd have not luck at all!

I just got the worst news this morning that the custom furniture I though I was getting for craft room was Demolished and thrown away!

I was sick with hurt and discused when I heard. I can't believe this company trashed a $12,000.00 dollar custom unit!

In my mind it going to be mine...all I had to do was get my husband and son-in-law over there to disassembled it and bring it home...well, they didn't....it's gone.

My son in law works for a property management company and one of the offices was evicted...it just so happens that they were a customer furniture company. They had the most amazing custom built office that was probably one of their show pieces that was left behind ,,,I was going to be the proud new owner and I was getting it for FREE.

This furniture was beautiful and to good to be true....tons of Shelving, Draws, Bookcases and a Beautiful Granit Counter Top! Room for my Computer Printer. I stood Nine feet tall and would have gone around my entire room with orgainzing beauty! All Custom Built. I would never in a million years be able to afford such grander!
All LOST!

I let myself be excited about it! I allowed myself for one moment to dream about having it! I even rehearsed over and over again designing all my scrap booking supplies and rearranging to make sure everything was going to fit just right!

I Kick myself in the ass for letting myself get so excited about it. Because when I heard the news today after reminding the boys for two months every weekend to please go pick it up for me....because I didn't want to lose it! I was sick with hurt! At a loss with disbelif!

They demolished it into millions of pieces and carted it away! I'm just sick about it! And I am surprised at how much it hurt my feeelings. Now that I wont be getting it. I litterally spent this morning,,,,,,morning the loss. I didn't even realize how much I cared about it, until now that its gone.

But.......God works in mysterious ways. I had been waiting for Arlene's video on You Tube about her finishing my Mini Album. I would check every day to see if she had posted her video with news that iIt was finished.

After the News.... I was in my craft room litterally sobing with hurt. I was reading my emails and ssaw your email informing me that you completed my mini album.

Arlene, your mini album video was a spark of Happiness for me today! Thank you!
It was so humbling that a new friend such as your self, could apply so much care and thoughtfullness in your work in creating my mini album for me.

Your efforts and the time you spent are truley appreciated! I'm somewhat of a stranger to you and yet you applied so much care and love in you album for me! Thank you thank you, thank you! from the bottom of my heat, for all the work and time you spent making my mini album special for me!

Your efforts are not unnoticed and your kindness and caring fill my heart with comfort and humility.

I'm so happy to have found so many Talented and Caring woman in this GGS Club!

"How my STAMP CLUB works"

Thank you in advance for your interest in My Stamp Club

Basically here is how it works:

Six (6) ladies get together once a month for a Workshop

(If you are not local to me we can still make the projects via mail) I can also start a long Distance club.

All six (6) ladies will make the project I have designed for that month.

As a Stamp Club member, you agree to spend $30.00 per month on
catalog merchandise whether or not you attend a club meeting.
This ensures that each hostess will receive her minimum of $150.00 in sales.
which she can then Obtain her Hostess rewards.

Chosen by Raffle one (1) lady will be the Hostess for 1 month.

All six (6) ladies including myself will be a Hostess for 1 month.

Membership runs once a month or the total amount of members. As a result each lady will have the opportunity to benefit from the Hostess Rewards. (free Hostess Sets and FREE Product of your choice out of the Currant Stampin’ up Catalog)

Distress Tags

These are a few cute tags I made just by stamping on Pattern paper and acetate from Product packaging. The acetate tag was stamped with Black Staz-on,,, and I used alcohol on the backside to add color. Pattern paper is Bacic Grey and K& co

I made this card using Stampin Up using "Friends 24-7 stamp set, black embossing powder,light blue mesh, Paper Wishes "paper", Martha Stewart border punch, Tim holtz Alcohol Ink, and Stampin Up Scallop Circle Punch. Starbucks Album More Pixs

Starbucks Paper Bag Album

I thought I would post a Paper bag album that I made about a year ago. I just love making Paper Bag albums, because they all provide so much space for extra pix and memorabilia.

I basically went to my local Starbucks and asked to buy a few extra bags and the lady at counter just gave me 10 of them! What a nice lady! I'm sure if you go to your local Starbucks and ask nicley, pretty please, they may give them to you also.

I painted the edges of all of the paper bags and they just used some of my ephemera to emblelish my book. I do have 2 ephemera kits left for sale if you would like one just send me an email or a comnent. Ephemera Kit $16.00 this includes shipping.

My "Stamp Club" -Chip Board Tag Book

Well here is this month's Mini Album. Made with Chipboard and Cardstock. We spent the entire night "INKING", and inking, and inking, and stamping, and stamping, and stamping! Whew! By the time we were done,,,,,,,we were done! This Mini album features the "FAUX LEATHER LOOK done with clear embossing powder. I'm sorry that the picture does not show case this technique, and how the paper really looks like leather!

Stamp sets used were all from Stampin up: Sense of Time, Fifth Avenue Floral, Friends 24-7, Dreams Du Jour, Circle Circus, Wings of Frindship, and Mini Alphabet set now discontinued "Euphoria" This Mini Album was stamped in Brown ink only. Didn't it turn out Yummyly? hehehe (my own language)

Me and My Hubby

These are some pics of a mini album my stamp club made for our June Club night. This was a really fun Mini Album made of Cardstock, die cuts from the Cricut and some home made transparencies from Staples that I printed up using my own images.

The binding is unique, this Mini Album was put together using wire and large seed beads. The Girls loved it and had a lot of fun making it. If you have any questions or want to buy a kit. Leave me a comment.

Here are a couple of cards I made over the weekend using Stampin' Up - stamp sets :"Sense of time, Rustic Rooster, Wings of Frienship." Both wings of friendship and Rustic Rooster are Hostess sets. The Black flower was made with Stampin up Scallop Punch. Red Pattern Paper is by Me and My big Ideas, Card stock is by Pine Cone Press, I used stickles, & Black Ink, Brown Ink, by Ranger. I have been really busy trying to get ready for my stamp club.

I have a new Mini album I'm working on for the girls, I hope they like it! I will post it as soon as I'm finished with it.

Anyway, I was up late last night making yet another Mini Chip Board album with "MY MINDS EYE" paper that I still have left over from my paper bag Album project.

I used a Faux Leather Technique on the Cover. I still need to embellish this album with of course BLING, Ribbons, Buttons and the like, but for now it's done.

Cool Guitar Hero / Karaoke Album

I Just Love My MINDS EYE paper! I made this paper bag Album ove the Mother's Day weekend.

My Mother's Day was nice. It started with my husbent taking my daughter and I to Breakfast, at one of my favorite resturants "Los Avillas Ranchito" in Santa Ana, CA.

The have a really good spread with Posole, Menudo, and many other authentic mexican dises like, chille rayeno, chiken molle, chilaqules, and many more.

After breakfast, I was given the remote control for the entire Day! What a treat! I'ts rare when I get the remote, and even more rare for me to watch T.V. as I don't watch as much as I used to since I've started to scrapbooking. Most of my spare time is spent in my craft room. I don't have any pics in this album yet, I need to spend some time printing them. Never the less my Mothers Day was very nice and relaxing.

This paper bag book was made with only 5 paper bags. I did use alot of double sided MY MINDS EYE paper. I'd say to complete this project I used about 13 sheets of chocolate Brown 12 x 12 Card Stock and About 14 sheets of Double sided MY MINDS EYE Paper. But what the heck,,,,,,that's what I bought it for.... right to use!

I have to admit I have been a paper horder for to long! I am turning over a new leaf this year I vow to use lots of the paper I own! I'm not getting any younger and I can't take it with me when I die so ...I need to use it! so I can buy more of course!

Mom & Dad

I have been remiss lately and have not been keeping up with my Scrap booking. So I thought in light of the Mothers Day Holiday, I have created two pages, one for my Mom for Mother's Day and one for my Dad for Fathers Day.

Both my parents have passed, My Mom in "96" and My Dad in 2003. My parents lived a full and happy life, they were always entertaining, yet humble and they both always tried to help others. I miss them very much, as I'm an only child and have no siblings around me. It's always been difficult for me to connect with someone.

My Daughter, Son-in -Law, and 3 Grand kids are the fulfiller's of my life now. It's is intersting how God only gives you what you can handle. When my Mom passed away... shortly after, my first two Grandkids were born (Victoria and Lex).

They brought great happiness to our lives after loosing my Mom who meant everything to me! Then when we lost my Dad, our third Grandaughter was born (Ajah). Once again, we had happiness prevail over the never ending sorrow we all expereienced.

When I lost my Dad, the loss was extremley sever. As in my own mind, I now was all alone.

Again, just when you think your life is so filled with trama that you may not overcome. God provides the streangth and happiness to help you sustain and move forward.

So for this Mothers Day, I reflect back on my life, and give thanks, for the endurance and preservirance to cope with the future.

Three years ago, I met some very lovely laddies I now call my dear friends. You will be hearing a lot about them on my blog, as I consider them to be just as special as my family.

I guess you could say they are my extended family.
